The GastroCanarias Cooking Classroom opens its headquarters in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria with Xavi Alba, head waiter at the prestigious Enigma restaurant
He GastroCanarias Cooking Classroom continues its expansion in the archipelago with the inauguration of its new headquarters in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, that will open its doors next MArts 14 of April with a training day starring Xavi Alba, room manager from the renowned restaurant Enigma. This opening represents a new step in the consolidation of a training project “that is committed to excellence and constant updating within the gastronomic sector”.
He Cooking Classroom, which celebrated its launch in Tenerife the past 30 March, was born with the objective of “promote a new stage in gastronomic training in the Canary Islands”. The Cooking Classroom “proposes a practical approach, contemporary and accessible, in which technique is combined, product, creativity, business vision, culture and enjoyment”. Its programming is designed for both professionals in the sector and amateurs seeking to expand their knowledge and skills..
The Las Palmas de Gran Canaria headquarters will begin its activity with the course “Training Techniques for Room Teams”, taught by Xavi Alba, a leading figure in the field of restaurant service. This first session will mark the beginning of a training agenda that, during the month of April, will include a total of four courses in this new space, reinforcing the commitment to specialized training in the living room and kitchen.
With this opening, Gastrocanarias expands its presence and reinforces its commitment to the development of gastronomic talent on the islands. The platform, promoter together with the Tenerife Fair Institution of the Gastronomic Hall of the Canary Islands, has established itself as a reference within the culinary ecosystem of the archipelago, promoting initiatives focused on dissemination, professionalization and enhancement of the local product.
