He CIFP Felo Monzón Grau-Bassas celebrate the next 15 of April Canary Puchero Days, a training experience that combines gastronomic tradition and real learning. The center's cooking and services students will take on the challenge of preparing and serving one of the most emblematic dishes of the Islands' gastronomy., under authentic professional working conditions.
This initiative, integrated into the pedagogical dining room from the center, offers future hospitality professionals an environment in which to apply their skills: from the organization of games and time control to direct dealings with real diners, who can reserve their place to taste the menu through the center's email.
The event not only celebrates Canarian cuisine, but it reflects the educational philosophy based on practice and job placement that has converted the CIFP Felo Monzón in a reference in the Canary Islands. With an employability rate close to 100%, The center continues to expand its training offer with new cycles in cooking, catering and a double degree in kitchen and service management.
In a context where the hospitality industry is experiencing a paradox—thousands of unfilled vacancies despite high tourist demand—, Activities like this underline the importance of a practical training, close to the sector and oriented to real employment.
