It is the only municipal winery on the island of Gran Canaria
The Señorío de Agüimes Municipal Winery presented in the first week of December the new harvest of wines from this 2023. This presentation was attended, among other personalities, the advisor of Primary sector, Food Sovereignty and Water Security of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, Miguel Hidalgo, the acting president of the Regulatory Council of the Protected Designation of Origin of Gran Canaria Wines, Pedro Suarez, the president and secretary of the Tasting Committee of the Regulatory Council, Juan Santiago García Socas y Nayra Gómez Díaz respectively, and the producer of the wines in the winery, Javier Ventura.
The Agüimes Municipal Winery It is the only municipal winery on the island. Born in the year 2000, combines the grape harvest from a good part of the municipality into wines that have won a good number of awards.
