The second edition of the charity gala held at Abama Resort Tenerife brought together more than 90 attendees to support the creation of Casa Pipa
The Canarian Foundation Little Brave has collected 13.000 euros during the II Abama Solidarity Gala, held on Thursday 4 of December in the Atlantic Restaurant (Abama Golf Club House). Quote, organized by Abama Resort Tenerife, reinforces the resort's commitment to initiatives that generate a real social impact in the Archipelago.
The collection obtained will allow progress in the implementation of Pipe House, a project promoted by the foundation to offer temporary accommodation, suitable and free a families with children or adolescents with cancer who must travel from other islands to Tenerife to receive hospital treatment. This space will provide a safe environment close to the healthcare area., crucial for alleviate the economic burden, logistical and emotional What these families face in the most delicate moments of the medical process.
'Casa Pipa is much more than a building: it's a hug, a refuge and the certainty that no family will have to face the path of childhood cancer alone.’ stated Jose Jerez, president of the Canaria Pequeno Valiente Foundation, present at the gala where he expressed his gratitude to Abama Solidaria and all the attendees for their involvement. 'We want Tenerife to also have a home where hope has a key, because cancer does not understand islands or distances.', he added.
The gala brought together 92 diners, among them residents of Abama, collaborators, business representatives and friends of the resort. The evening included a dinner prepared by the team of the Atlantic Restaurant, musical performances and a charity auction, in addition to a raffle in which experiences and products donated by sponsors and collaborators were raffled off.. In this edition they participated: Abama Hotels, Abama Residential, Abama Golf, Daniel Lopez, Spring Hotels, Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora, Hotel Tivoli La Caleta, Hyatt Hotels, Finca Vegas, Bettenhaus, The English Court, Perelada Winery, Taittinger, Mahou y Fonteide.
This second edition maintains the line started in 2024, when Abama Solidaria supported the implementation of the NGO Moms in Action in Tenerife. With this new event, Abama reaffirms its commitment to projects that strengthen the social fabric of the Archipelago and accompany families who are going through situations of special vulnerability.
