Wineries that produce DOP wines have up to 5 de mayo para inscribirse a través de la sede electrónica del Gobierno de Canarias o de forma presencial
The Canarian Institute of Agri-Food Quality (ICCA) ha publicado la Resolución por la que se convoca el Concurso Oficial de Vinos Agrocanarias 2025 dirigido a reconocer las mejores producciones vitivinícolas con Denominación de Origen Protegida (DOP) made and bottled in the archipelago.

En el certamen pueden participar blancos secos jóvenes y blancos fermentados en barrica, tintos jóvenes y tintos barrica, semisecos, semidulces, sweets, sweet malvasias, dry rosés, vinos de licor, of tea, sparkling, breeding, and reserve.
The productions presented must correspond to qualified batches and commercial brands available on the market., and comply with current legislation and regulations of the sector. Besides, a part of them must be available for marketing at the time of registration.
On the other hand, all wines must correspond to the vintage 2023 o 2024, except for the children, reservations, teas, sweets, of liquor, sparkling wines and sweet malvasias. Within each type and brand, different wines can be presented, as long as the labeling indicates the differences in the preparation. The sample presented must come from a homogeneous lot, cuyas existencias en bodega en el momento de la inscripción deben cumplir los requisitos establecidos en las bases del certamen según la cantidad. Estas se entregarán en las instalaciones del ICCA en la Estación Enológica (Bodega Experimental), ubicada en la Carretera El Boquerón en Valle de Guerra (The Lagoon), before 13:00 hours of 12 of May.

El producto elegido como Mejor Vino de Canarias 2025 will star in a report that will be published on the website of the autonomous organization and sent to various general and specialized media in agricultural information and gastronomy., for dissemination. Besides, las producciones distinguidas podrán utilizar durante un año el distintivo oficial del premio recibido y participarán en los distintos eventos de fomento y promoción que el ICCA organiza a lo largo del año.
Finally, The ICCA will cover the registration and logistics costs corresponding to participation in the annual CERVIM contest. (Research Center, Studies, Protection, Coordination and Valorization of Mountain Viticulture) de aquellas bodegas que hayan sido admitidas en el Concurso Agrocanarias. In addition, tendrán derecho al abono de los gastos de logística correspondientes a la participación en el certamen nacional de vinos que se determine en el Consejo de la Viña y el Vino.
