Establishments that market these productions and wish to participate in the initiative "Regala Agrocanarias", promoted by the Canary Islands Institute of Agri-Food Quality, must register before 6 of November

The Department of Agriculture, Cattle raising, Fisheries and Food Sovereignty of the Government of the Canary Islands through the Canarian Institute of Agri-Food Quality (ICCA) has launched the interactive online guide “Agrocanarias Friendly” with which it seeks to promote award-winning products in the Official Agrocanarias Competitions 2023, extra virgin olive oils, Wines, cheeses, gofios and sea salts from the Archipelago.
Establishments and distributors that market the award-winning productions in the last edition of the contest and wish to participate in the initiative “Regala Agrocanarias”, must complete and send, before 6 of November, the form that you will find in the link https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScLpIPEZvGdgtvv_qCxMu4gQ3e2E2YIKqH6-kGKyApDeLrKwA/viewform.
This guide, which will be available on the contests website (https://concursosagrocanarias.com/), will show the store location, contact details and products recognized in Agrocanarias what do they have in stock, among other information, with the aim of making it easier for customers to acquire these productions. Besides, The physical or online establishment with the greatest offer of these products will be invited to participate., together with the producers awarded in the last edition of the contest, at the awards ceremony.
The director of ICCA, Luis Arraez Guadalupe, explained that “This proposal fundamentally pursues two objectives, recognize the people who are committed to Canarian productions of differentiated quality, and raise awareness among consumers about the importance of betting on local products so that they incorporate them into their celebrations.”.
With the Christmas season approaching, he ICCA launch this guide, which is added to other promotional tools such as the YouTube channel, the profiles on Facebook and Instagram and the website of the Agrocanarias Competitions.
“Choosing these Canarian products, the best of the Islands according to the different tasting panels that are part of the contest, We help boost the local economy, job creation, as well as maintaining our rural environment, primary sector and the traditions linked to this, in addition to many other benefits for our environment”, added the head of the ICCA.
