The vice president and advisor of Tourism, Lope Afonso, highlights that they will be invested 1,2 M€ up to 2028, in the agreement with the Basque Culinary Center

He Tenerife Council, through the area of Turismo, Foreign Action and Institutional Relations, promotes training, gastronomic innovation and promotion of Tenerife through the agreement with the Basque Culinary Center, which amounts to 1.200.000 euros distributed in the annuities of 2025 a 2028.

This agreement, subscribed by the Council through Tourism of Tenerife with the prestigious Basque training center, seeks to “promote excellence in the island's gastronomic sector and is a complete training program aimed at the island's professional talent, as well as innovation and promotion of the cuisine of Tenerife”, highlights the vice president and advisor of Turismo, Lope Afonso.

The content of the action will cover talent training actions in Tenerife for the improvement of training in the gastronomic sector, through brand 'Tenerife, awakens emotions'.
