The Awara Moon Cheese Factory, from Garafía, obtains a Gold Medal and three Bronze Medals at the Chilean Cheese Meeting
The Cabildo of La Palma has congratulated the Awara Moon Cheese Factory, from Garafía, for his awards in the Chilean Cheese Meeting, an event that brought together national and international cheese factories through championships, samples and tastings.
The Minister of Agriculture, Cattle raising, Fishing, Food Sovereignty and Animal Welfare, Alberto Paz, highlights the importance of The Palm receive recognition awards for local products at these types of events. “These awards highlight local products and the daily efforts of producers”, duck.
In this event, with more than 340 registered cheeses, has obtained recognition Awara Moon Cheese Factory, from the hand of its producers Alicia González Valero, Alexandre Honorato, Leandro Celani and Renato Poblete Linzmayer.
They were recognized with three bronze medals in the semi-hard pressed goat cheese category., semi-hard pressed cow cheeses and hard pressed goat cheeses; and a golden one for cheeses with added or smoked ingredients.
