Gran Canaria accompanies 11 companies in Salón Gourmets 2026 to reinforce the value of the local product and open new business opportunities
Gran Canaria has taken a new step in its gastronomic projection strategy with its participation in the 39th edition of Salón Gourmets, the International Quality Food and Beverage Fair held at Ifema Madrid. Under the umbrella of the program Gran Canaria I like it, The Cabildo accompanies eleven companies from the island in one of the major European events in the gourmet sector.

Participating firms include Mojos and Jams Isla Bonita, Dismepe Canary Islands, Terorero Sausages, Rodrigonsa, Golden Pediment, in Asoquegra, Salinas de Tenefé and Valsequillo Cheeses, along with products like Gofio La Piña, Sidra Tuscany o Crabmouth Salt Flats.
The Gran Canaria proposal ranges from sauces, jams and salts even wines, cheeses and gofio, reflecting the diversity and richness of a pantry that seeks to consolidate itself as a gastronomic reference. During the four days of the fair, companies will develop tastings, presentations and showcookings aimed at importers, distributors, restaurateurs and purchasing managers, in an environment designed to encourage direct commercial contact.
With more than 55.000 products exposed and around 1.500 news, Gourmets Hall once again becomes a great thermometer of the sector.
