The restaurant Etéreo by Pedro Nel will be honored by the Academy of Gastronomy of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, institution chaired by Lourdes Fernández

The Board of Directors of the Academy of Gastronomy of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, after the meeting held last day 10 December and analyzed the proposals of its members, adopted by common agreement and unanimously to grant the Gastronomy Award of the Academy of Santa Cruz de Tenerife of the year 2025 to the restaurant Ethereal By Peter Nel.

Among other elements that were considered to award the prestigious award, the soul that they put into it was exposed Pedro Nel Restrepo and its kitchen and dining room team so that the capital establishment continues as a culinary reference inside and outside Canary Islands.

At the discretion of the Academy, Etéreo achieves an excellent fusion of traditions with part of the Latin American heritage to which it incorporates influences from Mediterranean and Canarian cuisines.

The chef has written to his collaborators that “We are living in a time where many restaurants are lowering their blinds., but we are rowing hard, united and smooth sailing. And we are achieving it because here we don't just cook: here we feel, we dream and fight together. This award honors us, but it also commits us. It reminds us that we are on the right path and that the best is yet to come.”

Etéreo by Pedro Nel adds another recognition

The restaurant Ethereal by Peter Nel adds one more line to his prestigious resume. However, This is not just any award.
