The Cabildo highlights the success of the II Savor La Palma Island Gastronomy Fair, with the satisfaction of producers and restaurateurs
The satisfaction of restaurateurs and producers, with a high assessment of both the sales volume achieved and the positioning of its establishments, highlights the success achieved in the II Island Gastronomy Fair Taste La Palma.
The event was held during the days 26 y 27 September in the Plaza Juan Pablo II of Los Llanos de Aridane under the organization of the Cabildo of La Palma, through the public company Sodepal, and the collaboration of the Aridan City Council.
The president of the Cabildo of La Palma, Sergio Rodriguez, highlighted that ““The resounding success of this II Island Gastronomy Fair is proof that the path started last year in Fuencaliente has been the correct one”. “We have seen how the seed we planted a year ago has become a consolidated event, a true meeting point that shows that our gastronomy has no borders on the island”, he added.
Besides, The president emphasized that “this fair is not just an event; It's a celebration of our identity., of our flavors, of our history and the hands that work the land and sea of La Palma”.
The Minister of Economic Promotion of the Cabildo of La Palma, MIRIAM PERESTELO, highlighted “the commitment shown by the participants in the fair, who have managed to convey to the attending public the quality of island gastronomy”. The counselor emphasized “the progress both at the organizational and sales levels achieved in this second edition, with respect to the first one held in Fuencaliente in 2024, which guarantees the continuity of a fair that we are convinced will consolidate as a reference in the Canary Islands”.
Miriam Perestelo not only valued the role of the participating companies from La Palma, but also thanked “the involvement” of the representatives of the gastronomy of Tenerife and Fuerteventura, as well as from Galicia, “who have also sent us the good numbers achieved at this fair”.

Finally, The Minister of Economic Promotion has announced that Saborea La Palma “is making a great effort in promotional matters”, but he has recognized that “now we must go further in the formation of our gastronomic sector”, anticipating that before finishing 2025 “actions will be developed for producers and restaurateurs”.
