The Cabildo of Tenerife has organized a program of visits and tastings with the prestigious wine writer, Tim Atkin, Master of Wine

He Tenerife Council has organized a program of visits and tastings with the prestigious wine writer, Tim Atkin, Master of Wine, which will continue until the next 25 January.

The Primary Sector advisor, Valentín González, explains that “this initiative is an important promotional event for Tenerife wines, contributing to the promotion of our local product”.

González highlighted “the presence in Tenerife of professionals in oenological matters, through whose work, we can transfer the characteristics and quality of our local product outside our borders”, in this case, of the wines produced on the island.

This initiative involves the development of various actions, with the objective of potential in the national and international market the image of quality wines of Tenerife.

Atkin will visit different wineries Tenerife and will make two tasting sessions for wineries: one for the wines He sees, Güímar Valley and Tacoronte, and another for wines La Orotava Valley, Ycoden Daute Isora and Canary Islands.

Tim Atkin, Master of Wine con 38 years of experience.
