Upalupa launches Latitudes by Upalupa and Upalupa Sunset, two proposals with Mediterranean cuisine, signature cocktails and afternoon in front of the sea
Upalupa Moments & Tastes, The restaurant of Duke's Bay led by chef Lucas Ordóñez, welcomes summer with two new gastronomic experiences designed to enjoy the south of Tenerife without rushing: Latitudes by Upalupa y Upalupa Sunset.
The two proposals expand the restaurant's offering with the same common thread: contemporary mediterranean cuisine, signature cocktails and the landscape of Duke's Beach, in Costa Adeje, as an essential part of the experience.
The first novelty is Latitudes by Upalupa, a pairing tour designed by Lucas Ordóñez together with the cocktail specialist Carolina Oliva. The proposal proposes a dialogue between cuisine and mixology through six combinations inspired by different climates around the world..
Each dish is accompanied by a cocktail created specifically to enhance, balance or contrast its flavors. The experience will change between June and September, with different gastronomic stops that evoke oceanic landscapes, mediterranean, tropical, desert or arctic.
The tour begins with a steak tartar accompanied by cocktail Matecito, inspired by the ocean climate. From there, The proposal includes elaborations such as Upalupa-style dressed avocado with the cocktail Aeneas; he tuna tartare con Oasis; las scallops with butter, ginger and lime next to the cocktail My Girl; he fried prawn with harissa mayonnaise con Aurora Boreal; and the cheesecake accompanied by cocktail Tenant.
More than a conventional pairing, Latitudes by Upalupa is presented as a small journey through flavors, temperatures, aromas and sensations. A way to convert the table into a tour, without leaving the restaurant terrace.
The second proposal of the summer is Upalupa Sunset, a new concept of afternoon that will take place every Fridays and Saturdays from 18:00 hours. The appointment combines cooking, signature cocktails and DJ sessions on the restaurant terrace, with the Atlantic and the island of La Gomera in the background.
The letter, also designed by Lucas Ordóñez, maintains the Mediterranean accent and works with local and seasonal products. Among the planned preparations are the vermouth watermelon salad with feta cheese, he grilled octopus with parsnip puree, he Iberian pork rice and Tenerife mushrooms a la llauna and the black cherne cooked in baked banana leaf Josper.
With these two additions, Upalupa reinforces its profile as a gastronomic and leisure space within Bahía del Duque. The proposal is not limited to lunch or dinner, but seeks to build moments around flavor, the cocktail bar, music and landscape.
Summer in Upalupa is thus presented as an invitation to stay a little longer: try a pairing, watch the sunset, listen to music and let the afternoon progress in front of the sea.
