The restaurants of School of the Canary Islands Hotels will temporarily incorporate into their gastronomic offer a selection of the dishes that the team of Hecansa design, made and served the Pope Leo XIV during his recent stay in Gran Canaria.
The proposal will allow the public to try part of the menu prepared for that visit, in an experience that unites Canarian products, school kitchen and the work of professionals and students of the public entity, attached to the Department of Tourism and Employment of the Government of the Canary Islands.
The menu is made up of a Firgas watercress cream with zucchini cannelloni stuffed with cheese and Hermigua gofio; and pressed black pork wrapped in shore sprouts, accompanied by baby zucchini and pork rinds on carrot hummus; and a creamy chocolate in different textures with orange jam from Gran Canaria.
The experience is completed with a glass of wine, water and coffee, and will have a price of 25 euros per person. It will be necessary to make a prior reservation.
The menu can be tasted on days 30 June and 1 of July in the restaurant Hotel Escuela Santa Brígida, in Gran Canaria, and the days 7 y 8 of July in it Santa Cruz School Hotel, in Tenerife.
