The projects 100×100 Bread and Pastry and 100×100 Puff pastry, led by Alexis Garcia (Best Master Pastry Artisan in Spain ) y Marlene Hernandez (Finalist Pastry Revelation Madrid Fusion 2021), evolve towards a unified brand: 100×100 Alexis Garcia. On the occasion of the 18th anniversary—the “coming of age” of a profession that has marked the sweet scene of Canary Islands— the firm presents a profound transformation of its space on C/ Antonio de Lara y Zárate, 3 (38002, Santa Cruz of Tenerife), which begins to focus even more on take away and integrates its bakery line again in response to public demand.
As part of this new stage, The visual identity undergoes a slight logo adjustment and the establishment incorporates a “Pastry Chef Table”: a pastry chef's table with unique dinners for a very small group of diners every weekend, designed to experience pastry in a gastronomic way.
The unification comes at a time of creative maturity for the team. In 2024, Alexis García was proclaimed Best Master Pastry Artisan of Spain (MMAPE), one of the most prestigious titles in the sector. After the success of 100% Puff pastry (open in 2022 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife), The house now reinforces its proposal with a hybrid model: haute bakery and signature pastries with greater focus on takeaway formats, without giving up the technical excellence that defines the project.
Founded by Alexis Garcia y Marlene Hernandez, The project brings together high-end bakery and pastry shops with a Canarian seal. After first consolidating in the south of Tenerife, the team opened in 2022 the space 100% Puff pastry in the capital, today evolved under the 100 brand×100 Alexis Garcia. Its philosophy combines technique, local product and creativity, with puff pastry preparations, long-fermented breads and contemporary pastries.
