Gastrocanarias 2026 will be celebrated from 19 al 21 May in Tenerife and inaugurates a new stage with more training, business and trends
| He XI Gastronomic Fair of the Canary Islands – GastroCanarias 2026 will be celebrated on days 19, 20 y 21 May at the Tenerife Fairgrounds, marking the beginning of a new strategic stage for the largest professional meeting of the sector in the Archipelago.
The large warehouse of the Tenerife venue will once again become the epicenter of gastronomy, Canarian hospitality and restaurants, consolidating an event that since 2014 has experienced sustained growth in participation and content.
In this eleventh edition, The organization is committed to strengthening its role as a sector platform, connecting talent, product, training, business and consumer trends. The show is organized one more year together with the Tenerife Fair Institution, in coordination with the Fairgrounds and its director, Jonay López.
The project director, Cristina Hernandez, emphasizes that the objective is to convert GastroCanarias into a space “even more useful for the sector, more connected with the real hospitality industry and with what is happening in the Canary Islands”, where professionals and companies can learn, generate contacts and promote projects.
Training, championships and more 300 activities
The GastroCanarias program 2026 will include specialized stands and areas aimed at professional updating, with a prominent focus on the training of students and future professionals thanks to the participation of Aula Makro and Aula Hecansa.
Round tables will be held for three days, interviews, presentations, culinary demonstrations and championships linked to cooking, drinks and cocktails, articulating an intense agenda focused on innovation, the technique, product and management.
In 2025, coinciding with its tenth anniversary, the room exceeded 20.000 in-person visitors and displayed more than 300 activities between championships, training workshops, masterclasses, presentations and tastings, figures that support its positioning as the great annual meeting point of the sector in the Canary Islands.
With the dates already confirmed, Gastrocanarias 2026 The countdown begins for an edition that promises to consolidate its leadership and open a new phase of growth for Canarian gastronomy.
