“Uncorking Canary Islands 2025”, a perfect experience for wine lovers, gastronomy and culture in eleven wineries of the Canary Islands-Canary Wine DOP
With the arrival of the month of June, AVIBO, Management Body of the Canary Islands PDO – Canary Wine organizes,every saturday, during the hours of 11 a 15 hours, some open days on the islands of Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura where you can visit eleven wineries assigned to this designation of origin of wines.
This second edition of the event “Uncorking the Canary Islands”, is a celebration of the wine and wine culture of the Canary Islands, and aims to bring wine lovers closer to local wineries, allowing you to discover the rich history and qualities that make Canary Wine unique in the world..
The eleven participating wineries – Viñátigo Wineries, Bodegas Tajinaste, Fluid Stone Winery, El Lomo Wineries, Bodegas El Sitio, Ferrera Wineries, Bodegas Viña Zanata, Linaje del Pago Wineries and Monje Wineries in Tenerife; Finca Escudero Winery in Gran Canaria and Conatvs Winery in Fuerteventura – They will open their doors on those days to offer educational tours through the vineyards, as well as visits to the winery. Likewise, wine tastings will be carried out, commented by their producers, and pairings with local tapas., allowing visitors an immersive experience that celebrates both wine and the unique identity of the Canary Islands.
Each winery will also offer a different cultural activity ranging from live music that surrounds the atmosphere, going through a painting workshop that awakens creativity or, even, a solar observation with a telescope, promising to make an unforgettable day of this playful experience.
