First details of the gastronomic fair savors the palm

He La Palma Town Council, through its public company Sodepal and within the framework of the project Savor La Palma, will meet in THE LLANOS DE ARIDANE to more than 100 representatives and producers of the gastronomic sector on the occasion of the celebration of the Island Gastronomy Fair Taste La Palma. The second edition of this event, that the days will take place 26 y 27 September, will host the National Enogastronomic Meeting of 2025 from Savor Spain.

For the president of the Cabildo, Sergio Rodriguez, On these days “we not only celebrate food, but we celebrate our identity. The gastronomic fairs in La Palma are much more than an event; They are the heart of our culture, “the reflection of our history and a fundamental pillar for our future”.

The Councilor for Commerce of Los Llanos de Aridane, Veronica Gonzalez, thanks the Island Council for choosing its municipality to celebrate this important culinary event, which “promises to be a showcase of our culinary wealth”.

That is why it invites all citizens and, especially, to cooking lovers, to attend this gastronomic event. “At the fair you will be able to discover and taste the best of home, but also try flavors and proposals from other islands and parts of Spain. All this without leaving our emblematic Plaza de España”.

Gastronomy and leisure

The Island Gastronomy Fair Taste La Palma will have a total of 40 booths that will be dedicated to a producer or a restaurant on the island. Besides, This year it will have four invited destinations, three regional and one national, with the aim of further enriching the gastronomic offer of the event.

Also, there will be an area called Like La Palma, that will have its own stage, cocina, light and sound equipment, so that different kitchen professionals nationwide can make live presentations.

Besides, As a novelty in this second edition, a Business Center, an area dedicated to business activity in which, thanks to the collaboration of the public company Sodepal, distributors who work for gourmet stores will be able to taste the products present at the fair and meet with their producers.

Beyond the gastronomic proposals, Two concerts are planned and the playground will be reinforced, located behind the House of Culture, with a kitchen activity area for children, following the success that this bet had in the last edition held in Fuencaliente.
