A new edition of the Orange Gastronomic Day begins on Thursday, whose objective is to show the versatility of this citrus in various dishes
The Association of Businessmen of the Open Commercial Zone of San Gregorio - with the financial support of the Department of Industry of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria- and the collaboration of the Telde City Council continue to work hand in hand to promote kilometer products 0 made and produced in the municipality, on this occasion, through a new edition of the Orange Gastronomic Day, an event whose objective is to show the versatility of this citrus in various dishes, which will take place 12 al 14 from December.
The initiative, presented by the Minister of Economic Development, Minerva Alonso, the mayor of Telde, Juan Antonio Pena, and the councilors of the Primary Sector -María Inmaculada González – and Commerce -Nayra Navarro-, together with the president of the Business Association of the Open Commercial Zone of San Gregorio, Natividad Suarez, This year it will have the participation of six establishments that have joined the gastronomic route and will offer dishes made with oranges as the protagonist on their menus..
It is about Restaurant La Tunera, Cafeteria La Canela, Antequera Pickles, Melian Churreria, Oasis Chillout and Ojeda Pastry Shop, which as presented this Monday, They will offer everything from an orange mojito or a sponge cake soaked in three milks, to a cake 80% orange or the dishes from the menu offered daily La cinnamon that will integrate the orange.
