Tuscany Brut Nature, elaboration of Vicente Oliver Marrero Arencibia, in Gran Canaria, has been recognized as Best Cider in the Canary Islands 2026 in the Official Agrocanarias Competition, organized by the Canary Institute of Agri-Food Quality with the collaboration of the Valleseco City Council.

The director of the ICCA, Luis Arraez Guadalupe, influenced its value as a tool for diversifying the agri-food sector and taking advantage of the local apple.
The mayor of Valleseco, José Luis Rodríguez Quintana, He recalled that the path started fifteen years ago in the municipality is already generating positive results for the agri-food sector and for the local economy of the small towns in the interior of Gran Canaria.. The apple trees planted then are now beginning to return more than just fruit: they return landscape, economic activity and a new productive identity.
Agrocanarias thus confirms that cider now has its own space within the Canarian pantry. It does not compete from nostalgia or rarity, but from an increasingly precise elaboration, linked to the territory and capable of gaining presence inside and outside the islands. In that context, Tuscany Brut Nature represents a clear idea: The Canarian apple can also speak with an accent of excellence.
