The XI Gastronomic Fair of the Canary Islands – GastroCanarias 2026 announces the finalists of its drinking contests, to be held on the Heineken Stage. The participants of the Canary Islands Beer Draft Championship Grand Prix Heineken are now known; Acrobatic Cocktail (Flair) Grand Thief Prize; Classic Cocktails Grand Prix Royal Bliss and Baristas Grand Prix La Marzocco.

This year's modality for the contest is “Free Drink”. It consists of each bartender being able to present a totally free recipe., subject only to the parameters specified in the bases. It should be noted that each creation must contain a minimum of 5cl of Ladrón de Manzana Cider.. This championship has a record number of participants for this edition.

The first edition of the Barista Championship was created with the objective of recognizing professional excellence in the preparation and service of coffee drinks.. The contest will have four modalities: best espresso; best cappuccino; best vegetable drink with coffee and best barraquito.

The XI Gastronomic Fair of the Canary Islands – GastroCanarias 2026 will be celebrated from 19 al 21 May in the Great Hall of the Tenerife Fairgrounds, consolidated as one of the main professional meetings in the gastronomic sector, hospitality and food industry in the Canary Islands.
