The exclusive Hotel Botánico hosts the Culinary Hotel Awards, the awards that celebrate the transformation of Canary Islands hotels into gastronomic benchmarks

This contest will bring together the Monday, 13 October, in the exclusive Botanical Hotel & The Oriental Spa Garden from Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife), to the most outstanding professionals in the sector and highlights those establishments capable of turning the gastronomic experience into a unique hallmark within the hotel world.
The event, organized by Iberian Press, editor at Canary Islands of the newspapers The Day y The Province, which has been strongly committed to gastronomic information through José Luis Reina, one of the most influential food journalists on the islands, It seems like the most important meeting point for the protagonists of the growing Canarian gastronomy, rewarding the luxury of those hotels that have turned the Islands into a first-rate culinary destination.
The jury of the Culinary Hotel Awards
A total of ten people make up the jury for this first edition of the Culinary Hotel Awards, to which we must add four judges whose identity has not been revealed. The latter are in charge of evaluating the jury's proposals.. For months they have carried out inspection work in all establishments.
The gastronomic journalist and coordinator of the Culinary Hotel Awards is part of the jury, José Luis Reina; Mulchand can, gastronomic marketing advisor and also coordinator of the awards; Laura Bouzon, hospitality entrepreneur and actress; Roberto Santana, businessman, co-owner of Envínate; Icíar Pérez y Juan Carlos Pérez-Mayor, owners of Moral restaurant; Carlos Delgado, manager of Prensa Ibérica in the Canary Islands; the presidents of the Gastronomy Academies of Tenerife and Las Palmas, Lourdes Fernandez y Alfredo Montes, respectively, and the director of Canarian dish and gastronomic communicator, Jaime Puig.
