OIV and Vinofed standards
This competition organized by Cervim is covered by the rules of the International Wine Organization (HIV) and the World Federation of Major International Wine and Spirits Competitions (Vinofed), which establishes the restriction of rewarding a maximum of 30% of the participating wines.
In this sense, The exceptional quality of this edition determined that some participants, among them close to 40 Canarian wines that achieved gold medal scores, did not obtain recognition as they fell below the cutoff established by the standards of these organizations.
After the jury's deliberation, which published its ruling after the sessions held at the Etoile du Nord hotel in Saarland, in the Italian region of Valle d'Aosta, Cervim has announced, as every year, an awards ceremony that will take place with an event to be held at the end of November in Rome.
