Tenerife adds seven soles (five new), El Hierro opens one and the island of Lanzarote adds another
Las Canary Islands they have more sun from this 4 March. Easy phrase to define the nine suns that the Repsol Guide has been awarded to restaurants on the islands at the gala held in Cartagena (Murcia). Two restaurants Tenerife, Ethereal by Peter Nel y The Dome they get, each, his second sun. Seven more restaurants debut. Namely: 8Aboriginal, on the island of The iron; Char, The Bocconcino, Kiki, Lajar de Bello y Coral, in Tenerife, y Yourself in Lanzarote.
The gala, presented by actress and comedian Silvia April, has left a single trisolado: The Climb, of Begoña Rodrigo.
The guide defines Ethereal by Peter Nel, nuevo 2 soles Repsol, like a place with “market cuisine with marked Latin touches”. Values the use of “canarian pantry” and the fusion “thoughtful and contained” from your kitchen.
Of The Dome, the other two suns, they underline “its luxury cuisine in a signature restaurant” in a gastronomic proposal “that does not lose sight of the Canarian tradition, not even the french”. The chef, Ruben Cabrera, announces “haute cuisine”.
