The new Haydée by Víctor Suárez opens its doors today at the Gran Tacande hotel 5* (Adeje) in the midst of very high expectations
With a contemporary design of the well-known Mercé Borrell (interior designer, among others, of the great Martin Berasategui, one of the teachers of Victor Suarez), the chef starts his new Haydée by Víctor Suárez, located in the Casa Fuerte building, the most distinctive of luxurious Gran Tacande hotel 5*, in Adeje, facing the Atlantic Ocean. And it does so amidst great expectation.
Suarez, which with this opening takes a giant leap in the evolution of its Canarian haute cuisine of La Gomera inspiration and demanding global sustainability., He has been fine-tuning his menu and room service for several weeks. (what, as is known, incorporates the use of the live gueridón in many presentations) with his head chef, Iñigo Short; your pastry chef, Laura Martin; your room manager, Facundo Rodríguez; your sommelier, Alfredo Di Marzi; and the rest of his team.
With a spectacular kitchen 127 m2 to serve 26 diners in the spacious dining room 280 m2, Víctor has managed to combine the look in space & more contemporary feel with the maximum comfort required by haute cuisine.
The gastronomic proposal of tasting menus and pairings will be the same that was triumphing just over three months ago in their previous restaurant. (with a Michelin star and a Repsol sun), but now in facilities that will allow it to continue growing in all areas.

The restaurant has direct entrance from the outside, so it will not be necessary to go through the hotel for the external public. It is located in the Casa Fuerte building, the most emblematic of the hotel and which is inspired by an ancient fortress. The storytelling revolves around the arrival of the ships and the disembarkation in a shelter-like area that will be the lower part of the restaurant and entrance to the fortress.. Some stairs will be climbed where the core of the restaurant and Haydée's house will be. From today, yours too.
