Ivan Monreal, the sommelier of the gastronomic hotel Ico Palace, in La Villa de Teguise (Lanzarote), won the number position 11 at the grand presentation gala of the list Top 100 Sommeliers from Spain 2024, being also the only canary in the Top 50 from the list.

The jury, composed of the prestigious Agustín Trapero, Valeria Gamper, Pedro Ballesteros MW, Almudena Alberca MW and Andreas Kubach MW, placed Monreal in the privileged eleventh place, only behind professionals as famous as those of Daviz Muñoz, Marbella Club, Robuchon o Case.
