Under the motto "Tenerife has more than one sun", The new winners of the prestigious gastronomic guide will be announced next 17 March

He Tenerife Council, Tenerife Tourism and Repsol Guide have announced that the island will be, for the first time, headquarters of the delivery of the Soles Repsol Guide, in his edition of 2025. The event will take place next 17 March 2025 and will be held at the Guimerá Theater in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The delivery of the Repsol Guide Suns not only recognizes the best restaurants in Spain for his work and career. It is the great event of the Spanish gastronomic community, which will be represented at the Gala by more than 200 chefs from all over Spain, and in which personalities will meet, accredited institutions and media throughout the country. The Gala can be followed live via streaming.

Under the motto 'The Sun rises in Tenerife', the event will convert Santa Cruz, and to the entire island of Tenerife, in the Spanish gastronomic capital. Besides, Various actions will be developed around the Gala with citizens so that everyone can join in the celebration of this gastronomic festival..

The vice president and advisor of Tourism of the Cabildo attended the signing of the agreement, Lope Afonso; the CEO of Tourism of Tenerife, Dimple Map; the director of the Repsol Guide, María Ritter; and the brothers Juan Carlos and Jonathan Padrón, from 'El Rincón de Juan Carlos' (Three Suns Repsol Guide), supported by other chefs from the 46 restaurants with Tenerife Soles.

Lope Afonso affirms that “today we take one more step, a firm step and with a lot of determination to be the focus of attention of national gastronomy through one of its most recognized events such as the Gala de los Soles 2025 from the Repsol Guide”. Afonso adds that “today we are in luck not only because we have the opportunity to announce the Gala de los Soles 2025 of the Repsol Guide in Tenerife but because we are taking decisive steps so that Tenerife continues to be that reference and that allows us to have a large part of our society and economy involved with it”.

For Dimple Map, CEO of Tourism of Tenerife, host the Repsol Guide Gala of the Suns, “It is a great opportunity for Tenerife and its tourist projection, focusing on our gastronomy.”, in our talent and the great potential that our island has.
