The Cabildo of La Palma and the public company Sodepal promote the island's gastronomy by promoting the Saborea La Palma project in the new edition of GastroCanarias 2025, in which Saborea La Palma will have its own stand. One of the most relevant gastronomic events in the archipelago, which will take place at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Fairgrounds 20 al 22 of May.
The CEO of Sodepal, MIRIAM PERESTELO, points out that the objective of attending this event “is to reinforce the promotion of local agri-food products and value the work of producers on the island.”.
In addition, Perestelo comments that “during the three days of the fair, the stand will offer tastings, culinary exhibitions and meetings with professionals in the sector, thus consolidating La Palma as a benchmark of the regional gastronomic scene”.

For this new edition of GastroCanarias, Saborea La Palma has selected five outstanding companies on the island such as Destilerías Aldea, with its artisanal family tradition rums; Mergus Wines, that is committed to heroic palm viticulture and wines with identity; VidaViva Ecofood, specialized in high quality sustainable plant products; palm tree, with its traditional mojos made with local recipes and Mi Dulce Pastel, a creative pastry proposal that combines innovation and tradition.
Besides, The program of activities includes the realization of showcookings live by renowned chefs from the island, that will show the versatility and richness of the Palmero product. The attending public will be able to enjoy the culinary proposals of the El Pulpo restaurant, with a cuisine based on fresh produce and the seafood and El Altillo Gastrobar recipes., that will surprise you with contemporary creations inspired by traditional Canarian cuisine.
