Saborea Lanzarote and Saborea La Palma will participate prominently in the Canary Islands Gastronomic Fair, which celebrates its tenth edition and becomes biennial
All the gastronomic power of Lanzarote… the island, con Taste Lanzarote, will dedicate this year its presence in Gastrocanarias (of the 20 al 22 of May) to display its vast culinary wealth (chefs, Passers, Wineries) and its exquisite pantry, both native products and artisanal preparations.

With two spaces –Taste Lanzarote Classroom and stand-, Lanzarote proposes an ambitious daily program that, from morning until closing, will allow visitors (journalists, prescribers, businesspeople…) taste live, through different showcookings, the talent of chefs as renowned as Orlando Ortega, Luis Amoros, Dailos Perdomo, Javier Hernandez, David Brito, Santi Falcón, Joao Faraco or Susanna Crepaldi; pastry chefs like Enrique Martin, Julieta Bicker and Ayoze Luis; and leading groups and brands such as AQUAL, Lala, craft beers (Nao, Malpeis and Two goats), Fefo, Primo, The Molina, Chacon… all happy with the traditional live performances of Los del Gofio Arráez and a great selection of Lanzarote wines.

So that, every day -Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday-, in addition to cheese tastings, Wines, beers, jams, papas, mojos, vermouth, liqueurs or shortbreads, from the 12.45 and until 16.00, The Aula Saborea Lanzarote will become a concelebrated cooking show where you can try the dishes of the best chefs on the island, in addition to the rest of the tastings and presentations in the remaining hours.

A program open to all visitors to Gastrocanarias 2025 that will allow us to know in depth the reasons for the great national and international success of Lanzarote's gastronomy.

Savor La Palma

The Cabildo of La Palma and the public company Sodepal promote the island's gastronomy by promoting the Saborea La Palma project in the new edition of GastroCanarias 2025, in which Saborea La Palma will have its own stand. One of the most relevant gastronomic events in the archipelago, which will take place at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Fairgrounds 20 al 22 of May.

The CEO of Sodepal, MIRIAM PERESTELO, points out that the objective of attending this event “is to reinforce the promotion of local agri-food products and value the work of producers on the island.”.

In addition, Perestelo comments that “during the three days of the fair, the stand will offer tastings, culinary exhibitions and meetings with professionals in the sector, thus consolidating La Palma as a benchmark of the regional gastronomic scene”.

For your part, the Minister of Agriculture, Cattle raising, Fishing, Food Sovereignty and Animal Welfare, Alberto Paz, affects the commitment that the Corporation makes to promote local products, which is the reflection of the commitment work of the primary sector of the Island, key to the social and economic development of La Palma.

For this new edition of GastroCanarias, Saborea La Palma has selected five outstanding companies on the island such as Destilerías Aldea, with its artisanal family tradition rums; Mergus Wines, that is committed to heroic palm viticulture and wines with identity; VidaViva Ecofood, specialized in high quality sustainable plant products; palm tree, with its traditional mojos made with local recipes and Mi Dulce Pastel, a creative pastry proposal that combines innovation and tradition.

Besides, The program of activities includes the realization of showcookings live by renowned chefs from the island, that will show the versatility and richness of the Palmero product. The attending public will be able to enjoy the culinary proposals of the El Pulpo restaurant, with a cuisine based on fresh produce and the seafood and El Altillo Gastrobar recipes., that will surprise you with contemporary creations inspired by traditional Canarian cuisine.
