He GastroCanarias Cooking Classroom will celebrate next 28 of May in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria a new workshop dedicated to seasonal pastries. Under the title “Spring sweets; Strawberry Special”, The session will take place at Bolero Studio Las Palmas, of 16:30 a 20:00 hours, with strawberry as the main ingredient.
The activity will be taught by Dana Joer, founder of Bird Artisan Pastry, project born in Gran Canaria with a contemporary look at signature pastries. Of Franco-Lebanese roots and trained in management, marketing and pastry in the Ferrandi School of Paris, Joher has developed part of his career alongside international leaders such as Pierre Herme y Walrus.
The course proposes a practical approach, technical and accessible use of strawberries in spring baking. Participants will learn to select, preserve and prepare this seasonal fruit, in addition to working creams, simple bases, montages, finishes, decoration and presentation.
The proposal is aimed at baking fans., lovers of creative cooking and people interested in improving their homemade preparations with techniques applicable at home. The objective is to bring results with a workshop finish to an audience that is not necessarily professional., but interested in cooking with judgment, organization and aesthetic sensitivity.
The workshop has a price of 79 euros and includes teaching material, tasting and a booklet with recipes. Places are limited, with a reduced capacity to promote a close and dynamic experience.
With this new activity, The GastroCanarias Cooking Classroom reinforces its line of experiential gastronomic training, with specialized courses that connect product, technique and new ways of living the kitchen.
