The public company Hecansa has brought to GastroCanarias this Tuesday the challenges of the hospitality industry in the kitchen, the room and the management

The new hospitality industry will be the subject of debate in the forum that School of the Canary Islands Hotels (Hecansa) celebrate this Thursday, 21 of May, within the framework of XI Gastronomic Hall, Gastrocanarias, that is developing these days in the Tenerife International Fair and Congress Center.

This Thursday, 21 of May, the public company, attached to the Department of Tourism and Employment of the Government of the Canary Islands, will meet from 10:00 hours, eighteen professionals from the sector, who will discuss training, new skills and the design of hotel experiences in the hospitality industry. The personnel who carry out their work in different departments of Hecansa related to hospitality.

Besides, eight students from training courses in Cooking and Hotel Management at the Santa Cruz and Santa Brígida school hotels collaborate in different GastroCanarias spaces, providing the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired during their academic training.

Hecansa, which is the first time that it participates in this room with this format, It also promotes the training offer that will be taught in the centers next academic year. 2026-2027, six training cycles with a total of 280 places for students.
