The young chef from Majorero Kevin Diaz Perdomo will be one of the six finalists who choose to win the title of Best Bites with Cheese, in the contest that will take place coinciding with the celebration of the gastronomic congress Madrid Fusion 2025, to celebrate in Madrid the days 27 a 29 January of next year.
This contest highlights the role of cheese in current gastronomy and its importance in creating unique and tasty tapas.. Tapas with cheese are an excellent way to stand out in Spanish restaurants, allowing chefs and restaurateurs to differentiate themselves from the competition and offer original and creative gastronomic experiences.
This year the finalists of the contest are: Alejandro Lopez Alvarez, Higher Degree student in Management at the School of Hospitality and Tourism of La Rioja; Carlos González García, of the Alcuneza Mill*, Sigüenza (Guadalajara); Anival Vivas, de La Xida, Madrid; Jesus Ivan Anaya Gomez, from El Mirador de la Mancha, Real city; Jorge Landa Balaguer, from The Walnut Era*, Freckles (Huesca) y Kevin Diaz Perdomo, from El Baruco de Anero (Sneaky).
Kevin Diaz Perdomo, originating from Fuerteventura, He develops his professional career at El Baruco de Anero (Sneaky). Weigh your youth, 24 years, Kevin has already been a finalist and winner of some of the most important gastronomic competitions in the country, winning the first prize for Best Cheese Sandwich in Spain in the III edition of the Gran Canaria International Cheese Forum.
