The El Grifo winery has just presented its Reserva de Familia vintage 2021, that adds efforts to banish the idea that there is no good red wine in Lanzarote
For years the same refrain has been repeated.: "in Lanzarote “There is no good red wine.”. But reality is changing. More and more wineries on the island are producing high-quality red wines, with flavor, body and personality that surprise even the most demanding palates.
The incorporation of new generations of professionals in the sector and the passion of local winegrowers, has made these red wines gain complexity and character, leaving behind the reputation that the island is only a white man's land. The tap, the oldest
We have one of the most recent examples in the vintage 2021 of The tap Family Reserve, and “exceptional tribute to the people and the territory” made by the winery that now fulfills its 250 anniversary and of which only exist 6.200 bottles.
