Tenerife Tourism offers two in-person training for professionals in the gastronomic sector in Puerto de la Cruz and Adeje on 8 y 9 of April

The Cabildo, through Tenerife Tourism, presents the first free in-person sessions aimed at professionals in the island's gastronomic sector. Included within the Master Plan for Gastronomy and Island Tourism, These sessions seek to benefit businesses in the sector from an ecosystem of business improvement and development.. In both sessions, The day will begin with the Gastromarketing presentation. improve your business in 7 steps, taught by Pablo Bellenda, communications director of Aplus Gastromarketing. Formations

The start of these face-to-face trainings occurs after the launch of the first two online courses for island gastronomy professionals by the Cabildo through Tenerife Tourism: Gastrotrends and The Era of Sustainability, available on the Tenerife+Talento platform for professionals who wish to carry them out.

These trainings aim to enhance the businesses of the participants through content, audits and training given by renowned and renowned professionals in the Horeca sector (hotels, restaurants and cafes). The training program consists of a total of five online courses and six in-person courses, in addition to comprehensive advice for companies in the sector, with the purpose of implementing a line of work that supports the development of R&D&i in the gastronomic sector of Tenerife.

The five online courses have a duration of six hours each., and they will be titled: Gastronomy 360º, The new era of Sustainability, Gastrotrends, Gastromarketing and Business & Gastronomy. Six face-to-face sessions will also be held in different parts of the island., with presentations, tasting of local products and training workshops. Students will be able to complete the complete cycle or sign up for the courses independently.. At the end of each course, They will receive the corresponding diploma that certifies completion.

This project, financed by the European Union, through the Next Generation funds of the European Union within the framework of the Recovery Plan, Transformation and Resilience, managed by the Department of Tourism and Employment of the Government of the Canary Islands, is integrated into the Tenerife Reset project within the Tourism Sustainability Plans Program approved by the Tourism Sector Commission.
