Javier García González won the country table championship in GastroCanarias, ADOM Grand Prize, where creativity was valued, technique and aesthetic coherence
Javier García González was proclaimed champion of 2º ADOM Grand Prix Country Table Assembly Championship, a competition that closed the day's activity in the Heineken Stage of the XI Gastronomic Fair of the Canary Islands – GastroCanarias 2026.
The contest focused on an increasingly relevant aspect within the gastronomic experience: table presentation, attention to detail and the ability to build a coherent aesthetic proposal around the service. In this case, The participants had to propose the integral assembly of a professional country table designed for six people.
The jury valued creativity, technical execution, the visual harmony of the whole and the coherence of the proposal. The visible presence of the brands with which it works also had special weight. ADOM, through its single-use materials, integrated into the assembly.
They completed the podium Romulo Leal Gomez, second place, y Cristina Hernández Gutiérrez, third classified. He also participated as a finalist Ambrosio Martín Padrón, along with the winner and the other two winners.
With this championship, GastroCanarias expands its view on gastronomy beyond cooking, incorporating table design, atmosphere and service as an essential part of the hospitality experience. A discipline in which aesthetics, functionality and professionalism combine to reinforce the identity of each proposal.
